Product description:
Hicem Excel is an adhesive dry-set mortar for special tile works that require extra bonding and higher standard properties. It is deliberately added at least two to three times specific additives that compose of Hicem Standard plus another specific chemical agents that enhance Hicem Excel more specific to particular works. Thus, they are strongly recommended for hard working areas especially for swimming pool, high rise building, factory floor, public area, garage, or even for redecoration over the old tiles and etc.

How to apply
1. Working surface should be clean and free of contaminants.
2. Mix Hicem Excel into clean, fresh water with three (3) parts Hicem Excel to one (1) part water stir briskly about 5 mins or until well blended. Let stand for 3-5 mins. Do not add more water. Mixture will be viable for approximately 60 mins.
3. Apply Hicem Excel to the working surface in a smooth layer 6-8 mm. thick, then comb the adhesive with a notched trowel for a ribbed effect. Apply the tile firmly with a slight twist to insure proper adhesion.
Note: Excessively warm or dry surfaces can be dampened slightly before adhesive application.
Note: On uneven surfaces, Hicem Excel may be applied in various thickness from 5 - 10 mm. to allow a smooth and level tile application. A thickness greater than 10 mm. is not recommended.
4. Avoid spread excessive adhesive over a large surface which could dry before tile application.
